Hushgate

Terms of Service

Effective October 12, 2026.

TeeBox LLC is a South Dakota limited liability company (LLC). These Terms of Service (the Terms) are an agreement between you and TeeBox (we, us, or our). They govern your access to and use of Hushgate, including its sites, console, gateway, application programming interfaces, source access, and related services (together, the Service).

By creating a workspace, starting a trial, buying a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Hushgate is a policy gateway for credentials that software agents use. You can connect a third-party service, store a credential, and publish rules that allow, hold, or deny outbound requests. The Service runs in a confidential virtual machine and offers evidence that a client can use to check the running release.

Hushgate is an invite-only beta. It has limited capacity, one active production instance, and a manually started standby instance. We do not promise any uptime, recovery time, support level, feature permanence, or general availability.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. The Service is for business and professional use. You must give accurate account and billing information and keep it current.

You are responsible for your workspace, agents, API keys, passkeys, recovery kit, and all activity under your credentials. Keep them secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Hushgate cannot unlock a workspace, replace lost owner factors, or reissue a lost recovery kit.

Connected services and agents

You may connect only accounts, credentials, data, and services that you have the right to use. You authorize Hushgate to send requests to a connected service under the policies that you publish. The connected service's terms, privacy policy, fees, limits, and decisions still apply.

You are responsible for each agent that you connect and each policy that you publish. A policy can reduce what a credential can do, but it cannot determine your intent. It cannot guarantee that a connected service will behave as you expect. Review policies and held requests before you rely on them. Do not use Hushgate as the only control for a safety-critical or legally regulated decision.

If we offer an optional feature that uses an artificial intelligence model, its output can be incomplete, incorrect, or unsafe. You must review that output before use. Ordinary gateway traffic does not automatically go to an artificial intelligence model.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

or other specially regulated data unless we agree in writing; or

in writing.

We can investigate suspected misuse. We can limit or suspend access when we reasonably believe that use creates a security, legal, or operational risk.

Subscription, trial, and payment

The beta plan costs USD 5 per month and includes a 14-day trial. The trial requires a payment card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Stripe will charge the card and the subscription will renew each month until cancellation. The price and timing shown at Checkout control if they differ from this page.

Stripe processes payments. You authorize Stripe and TeeBox to charge the payment method for subscription fees, applicable taxes, and amounts that you approve. You must keep a valid payment method. A failed renewal can enter a seven-day grace period before Hushgate suspends forwarding.

You can cancel a subscription through the Service. Cancellation stops forwarding but does not delete the workspace. Workspace deletion is a separate action. Payments are non-refundable unless the law requires a refund or we state otherwise in writing. We do not give credits for a partial billing period.

We can change prices or plan terms for a future billing period after we give reasonable notice. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

Your data and instructions

You keep your rights in the data, policies, requests, and credentials that you provide. You grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, encrypt, and back up that material. We can use it only to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and to meet legal duties.

Do not give us material that you lack the right to provide. You are responsible for notices, permissions, and lawful instructions for personal data that your agents send through Hushgate.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

Source access and intellectual property

TeeBox and its licensors keep all rights in the Service, branding, documentation, and software. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. Feedback is voluntary. You permit us to use feedback without a duty to pay you or restrict our use.

An active beta subscription can include read access to proprietary Hushgate source code. That access is only for security review, local evaluation, and defect reporting. You must not redistribute the source, operate it as a service for another person, or distribute a derivative work. When source access ends, you must delete your copies. Any license notice supplied with source code also applies.

Security and deletion

We use safeguards that are designed to protect the Service, but no system is fully secure. The Service depends on hardware, hosting, network, and software providers. You accept the risks described on the Security page.

When you delete a workspace, Hushgate stops forwarding, destroys the current live workspace key, removes live workspace records, and starts vendor cleanup. Cleanup at Stripe and GitHub can finish later. Encrypted backups can retain historical ciphertext and wrapped keys for up to 30 days, and storage-provider expiry can occur later. Cancellation alone does not delete workspace data.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We can change, remove, or stop a beta feature. We can suspend or end the Service for nonpayment, misuse, risk, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

On termination, your right to use the Service and proprietary source ends. Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including payment, ownership, warranty, liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent that the law permits, the Service is provided as is and as available. TeeBox disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, security, and uninterrupted use.

Hushgate does not guarantee that a policy will express your intent or that an agent will act safely. We do not guarantee that a connected service will act correctly on a request. We do not guarantee that stored data can always be recovered.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law permits, TeeBox and its related parties will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Related parties include our affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors. This exclusion also covers lost profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or security.

To the maximum extent that the law permits, the total liability of TeeBox and its related parties will not exceed a fixed cap. The cap is the greater of USD 100 or the fees that you paid during the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. These limits apply even if a remedy does not achieve its essential purpose. The limits do not apply where the law does not permit them.

Indemnity

To the extent that the law permits, you will defend and indemnify TeeBox and its related parties against specified third-party claims. These claims are claims that arise from your agents, data, connected services, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights. This duty covers the resulting losses and reasonable costs.

Governing law and disputes

South Dakota law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Minnehaha County, South Dakota, have exclusive jurisdiction over a dispute, and each party consents to those courts. A law that applies to you can give you rights that these Terms cannot change.

Before filing a claim, contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Either party can seek urgent relief to protect credentials, confidential information, intellectual property, or system security.

General terms

These Terms and the documents that they incorporate are the entire agreement about the Service. If one term cannot be enforced, the remaining terms stay in effect. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You cannot assign these Terms without our written consent. We can assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of the relevant business.

We can update these Terms. We will change the effective date and give notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after the change takes effect means that you accept the updated Terms.
